Thursday vs. a beatup black Audi Allroad

Hi - today was a black Audi Allroad, the owner let me know ahead of time it was in rough shape from trips up North. I decided to try out my rotary skills for the first time in almost 3 years on this one. Thanks to Simon (aka tumbler) for his help last weekend re-aquainting me with it.

Not everything came out - some of the scratches on th trunk and on the side where the owner hit a barrier are too deep, but everything else came out well.

Process:

Menzerna PG on an LC orange @ 1400 rpm

Opt Compound on an LC white via PC

FPII on LC grey via PC

Menzerna FMJ

Poorboys NL on the trim, Armor All on the tires.

Interior was vacuumed, mats done with LGM, cleaned trim with pb's APC 3:1, everything dressed with megs interior detailer.

Sun was hit or miss, here are the pics.

I tired to take as many in the same spots/lighting as I could. Here they are in order from above.

Off to a cabin in VT for the weekend. Be safe and have fun everyone!

Wow, after that job I think you need that weekend in VT! Big turn around on the whole vehicle those were some nasty scratches. Was the glass scratched too as it appears in one of the first photos? I think this guy needs some other kind of vehicle to go to the cottage. :shocked

Thanks. Ya, the glass was scratched up pretty bad in the back. I know I'd be hesitant to drive such a nice car into the woods too; but I guess that's what it's made for. :shocked

5:25am, time to hit the road! See you all Tuesday. :)

nice work man.. those audi's do make us work for our money..
