alrite.. my ratings are all over the place so allow me to explain... this is a product that i have used for several years, and never bothered to review for some odd reason.. ok, the packaging is nice looking, the misting spray is nice too.. its easy to use, and the instructions are straitforward and simple..fragrance is nothing special, just a clean smell, i dont know how to desrcibe it.. final finnish, i always put a protectant on after using this, so i cant really comment, other than on its cleaning ability i guess?.. which is very good. this product is my go to product for interiors that havnt been taken care of in a while and have residue on commonly touched areas like doors and seatbelts etc etc. it works very well when it comes to that.. it says it has UV protection, but i dont know.. i always just use it as a cleaner, and follow it up with something.. i have to say it is an eccelent value because its relativley cheap, a bottle will last a longgg time, and it does exactly what t says.. cleant interiors.

I love this product so much particularly because it cleans the hard interior surfaces really well without leaving that annoying Armor All shine. I'm not exactly sure how well it protects though, just hoping it protects like Megs says it does. It clean very well and leaves no residue. Leaves a good smell after application.

What Meguiars specializes in is value for the customer dollar. Meguiars QID is on the top of my list for an interior protectant. Like similiar QID, I am a little wary of long term UV protection, however with frequent use that should not be a problem. This product is easily applied leaving no streaks. It leaves a very nice crisp matte finish that I prefer. The bottle design is perfect in my book (compared to TW Ice Interior; which is that product's downfall). I also like the fragrance of the product, just right not overpowering.

I have not been using Quik interior detailer very long but like it for the ease of use. It is especially good for dashboards and can be used to detail parts that you would be afraid to try to detail like nav screens and radio faces. It has a nice smell and really couldn't be easier to use. It is very veratile.

I know the old school thought of slapping armor-all all over the dash and sides of the car was not for everyone, including me. I find the glare particularly from the shiny vinyl dash annoying during sunny days and created a silly reflection on the windshield. I hoped for a car that would have a matte surface and found it in an 03 BMW 5 Series. The BMW came with the leatherette (vinyl) dash and interior surfaces which proved easier to clean and maintain in the long-term. On an overly-dirty surface, you might want to pre-clean first with a distilled water/woolite solution before using MQID. I apply Meg's Interior Detailer on the leatherette using a sponge pad and let it air dry. It can also be used on leather surfaces (steering wheel, shift and parking brake boot, headrests and seats) and plastic parts and trim which produces a like-new non-reflective appearance. If you do get it on the wood/ aluminum trim, buff off right away with a MF cloth in will give a nice shine.

Keep a bottle in your trunk for those quick clean-ups. This product works for almost everything in the interior except glass and rubber.

This is a good interior detailer. I spritz some on a microfiber applicator and it seems to work better than a mf towel or spraying it directly on the dash. Smells nice (like most meguiars products) and leaves a nice matte finish that isn't greasy. Plus you can get it OTC.

Outstanding for matte finish black interiors as it doesn't leave an oily, greasy residue like so many other interior detail products are prone to do. Works equally well on both smooth as well as rough surfaces.

Very happy with this product. Wanted something that would remove fingerprints and other like residues from the dash of my car without leaving it's own residue keeping the factory matt black look. This product does just that. I have found many other uses for it also: Wiping down home stereo equipment, wiping down my R/C Helicopter radio equipment, Wiping down my computer stuff. And the fresh scent is a bonus.

I first tried this product as an experiment, and the result was that will be my going product for good!! Leaves a brand new look on the dash of my car and repels dust pretty good.

Smells kida bad when it comes out of the bottle, but will dissipate after drying. with regular use (every 2-3 times per week) will do a lot of saving in cleaning the cokpit of your car!!

Outstanding product, and will highly recommend to anyone!!

I work at an Auto Parts store, and everyone I sold this product to has came back and told me they loved it.

Personally, I have stocked up on this product (have three bottles). What I like about this product, is the matte finish it looks. I find glossy dressings to streak, and run. However, Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer leaves a nice matte looking finish, with no streaking.

This stuff is versatile, and you can use it almost anywhere on interior trim pieces. My Bullitt pedals were a bit dirty, but this took the grime right off of them.

It stains, so I would suggest using some cheap MF towels you can pick up at Costco, or Walmart.

Quick Interior Detailer has really become my favorite detailing product. Its very versatile as it can be used on nearly everything in the interior. The finish it leaves is completely natural, almost as if you never applied anything at all. However, it leaves the interior fresh and clean, while leaving light protection. At first the smell seemed a bit much, but after I was finished the smell was perfect- it doesn\'t smell like you applied an air-freshener, it just smells fresh and clean. I really can\'t say anything bad about this product. I stocked up on this stuff when Pep Boys was selling it 2 for $7, but its well worth the $5 regular price. I highly recommend this product.

I've been using Meguiars Interior Quick Detailer for quite a while now and it has become my go-to interior protectant. Both I and my customers love the way it makes the interior look new as opposed to shined up. Additionally, for me, another advantage is that it works on all interior surfaces, including wood, chrome, nav screens, etc. Makes application a breeze.

Where this product really excels is on cars with intentionally matte vinyl (like the dash on a BMW) where traditional interior protectants tend to streak. Dust attraction is also noticably less.

My only real complaint is that the UV protection is minimal but with regular application that shouldn't be a problem.

The product itself is great, but is let down by poor packaging.

My procedure is to first whizz over my interior with an OXO Mini Duster to pick up all the dust. This does leave the odd smear of paraffin, but that doesn't matter. I follow up with Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer and an Ultimate Detailing Towel. This cleans up any paraffin smears and stains and leaves a nice clean matt finish. You can't tell where you've been with this stuff, but that doesn't matter if you're methodical and thorough.

It doesn't leave an unpleasant smell at all. In fact, get into the car later and you find is smells nice and clean.

The only let down is the packaging. I find the bottles seem to be a little brittle and don't stand up to shipping very well. The first bottle I received from Autopia was split, though I suspect the damage had happened in the latter stages of transportation all the way over to the UK because the box wasn't that wet. I later bought a bottle in the UK and found that whenever I pulled the spray trigger (which worked fine), I also ended up with a little of the product running down the outside of the bottle. I traced it to a split in the neck of the bottle.

Meguiar's would do well to use better, less brittle plastics for their bottles like the Sonus ones do.

Great product. Shame about the packaging.

Very nice IQD by Meg's. It has some light UV protection, but it is meant more as a daily maintenance product. Leaves absolutely no gloss, no change in surface texture, no increase in dust attraction. It's kinda hard to even know where it was applied! The smell isn't that bad BTW.

I haven't used any of the megs products in years, but I figured I would give this one a try. It's definitely not going in the garbage. I really like it. Very easy to use . . . wipe on then wipe off. The sprayer is great as well. The stuff does smell terrible, but once applied leaves no smell at all. What I like best is that it leaves no greasy feel AT ALL and that it leaves a nice non-glossy finish.
