very very good wax (November 13, 2009)
Reviewer's Comments
Used the R222 wax for the first time after using dodo juice polish on my new car and this stuff is great, it's very easy to put on and take off and the shine and feel to the bodys paintwork is great...A very very good wax and well worth the money.

Summary
wish it would last longer (May 19, 2009)
Reviewer's Comments
Let me just start by saying this: P21s Concours is definitely a step up from the waxes you find over in a brick and mortar store. I purchased it based on the great reviews posted here however I was pretty disapointed. The main issue is that it doesn't last more than 2-3 weeks. It's pretty much gone after 2 washes. I used it on black, silver, dark blue, orange cars and it looks good but nothing special. Blackfire midnight sun carnauba wax is a much better product overall, deeper, slicker, shinier, lasts much longer and definitely worth $10-15 more than the P21s Concours ($35 street price these days). Needless to say, I wouldn't buy the P21s again.

Doesn't last (January 14, 2009)
Reviewer's Comments
A bit pricey, and gets me through only two washes - the car needs a new coat after the third wash. So easy to apply it's nearly fun. Awesomely easy to buff, and no waiting. A fresh coat looks spectacular, but this is the "tube amplifier" of waxes - it has a very pleasant optical distortion that makes the paint look better than it is. Hides imperfections very well. You could do a lot worse than use P21S.

Exceeded expectations (July 13, 2008)
Reviewer's Comments
This product exceeded my expectations in almost every way. They were set pretty high initially based on the rave from most Autopian users.
The packaging was very simple but at the same time not overtly complex. The foam applicator pad was a nice jesture but really lacks compared to Meguiars foam applicator pads.
First thing I did (since I was going to be applying with a UDM) was flipped the wax over in the container. This gave me a slightly bluging surface out of the container that allowed this to be applied to my UDM pad as smooth as butter (also why I threw the pad so I could close the container).
The product applies on extremely easy; just like butter. Buffing off (even when slightly hazed) is no difficulty. Unlike other waxes with cleaners; this will not stain plastic trim so i had no fear getting my UDM right up to the edges.
The final result was outstanding; extremely wet on a diamond graphite metallic exterior paint. The metallic flakes were visible as before they were muted by Gold Class Wax. The car was dripping wet after applying over Klasse AIO. This last for approximately two weeks before the "pop" left. The durability is average I would rate but seeing how easy this is to apply; I don't see any reason to complain.
The slickness was my only complaint as I noticed a drop in the slickness over my Klasse AIO but I would gladly trade that in for the warmth of this wax.
Byfar; this is the best wax I have used to date in this price range. The results are unmatched but the compromise is durability (but expected from a pure wax). I would recommend topping this over a base sealant like Klasse AIO or Klasse SG to get best of both worlds.

Just what I expected (June 30, 2008)
Reviewer's Comments
Well I just had to give this a shot after reading all the good reviews, and I must say it definitely lives up to all of the hype. My only advice is to make sure the surface is properly prepared/polished before you put this on or you will be wasting your money buying such a good wax.

Simplicity Never Gets Old (March 10, 2008)
Reviewer's Comments
PROS -
Out of the waxes I've experimented with, p21s is the easiest to apply and remove
Great on darker colored vehicles...made my graphite gray pearl POP..did not mute flakes at all
Very very slick..
Very little goes a Long Way!
CONS:
Expect to reapply every 3-4 weeks...but as an autopian, im sure you don't mind!
Applicator it comes with is useless...although it is a nice gesture.

Great Product (April 22, 2007)
Reviewer's Comments
Finally I solved a my problem. I had white paint over spray on a green Ford Excursion. I had tried everything to remove it even talked to professionals. I found Autopia web site and gathered a ton of information. I purchased Ultimate detailing clay, lubricate and P21S Carnauba car wax. The clay did the job witrh the over spray and totally cleaned the surface of the paint. I applied the P21S Wax and oh what a shine. The depth of the shine and the smoothness of surface is far better than anything I have used in the past. Little expensive but you get what you pay for. I will no longer buy my car care products at the local auto parts stores, only from Autopia. The information on their site is excellent.

Excellent Wax! (August 11, 2006)
Reviewer's Comments
I've used this product for 2 years before submitting a review. The container is fair. It has a smaller container inside of a larger container that has the P21s label and instructions. The two containers started to separate after one summer of use. Not a big deal but worth mentioning if we're going to be critical. It comes with a small sponge applicator that at first you think you need to replace but I found out exactly the opposite. I use the small applicator and it works very well.
The wax is soft and buttery. It goes on like warm butter and comes off like a colorless talc without buffing. It has excellent depth and shine. It really gives the car a wet look. I top two layers of KLASSE AIO with several layers of p21s with excellent results.
It is pure carnauba paste wax. It is for waxing not polishing. It has excellent durability for a wax. I keep my truck in the garage and I can get a five to seven weeks from an application. I can't ask for more. Of course it is so easy and enjoyable to apply I rarely let it wait that long. It is cathartic just to rub this buttery lotion onto your automobile. It's like rubbing tanning lotion over the delicate back of a young bikini clad lady. Well, almost.

Made my Red DEEP RED! (August 10, 2006)
Reviewer's Comments
This turned my Absolutely Red Lexus from a everyday red car into a drop dead gorgous deep passoinate pool of love! Haha. Well it was definately the \"Icing on the cake\". Prep work was 3 different grades of polish (SFX) and 3 coats of Klasse. The \"Deep passionate pool of Love\" part came only after applying the P21S. If you have a darker, solid colored, non-metallic car, and you want the deep wet look, this wax is for you. This is a form over function product though: Durability is just OK but better then most of the other \"off the local autoparts store shelf\" products I\'ve used. Removing it can be a bit of a hassle at times if it\'s really dry out too.
To me the end result was glorious but still think it\'s overpriced a bit.

Easy on, easy off (November 8, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
I just tried P21S for the first time this week. I was very impressed with how easy it was to work with. Definitely, one of the easiest carnauba waxes I have ever worked with. It left a nice shine and a fairly slick surface. The package is very pleasing to look at and the instructions are good. At about $30 a jar this is priced at about the middle of the price range for most waxes.

A good complimenting wax (September 2, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
It goes on and comes off easily for a carnauba, fills in scratches VERY well, but lacks the \'Wow factor\' that I had with just Zaino. Not as deep and the corners that would literally glow after the Zaino treatment no longer glow with P21S applied.
A good buy, offers scratch protection (that’s why I use it), and easy to use. The downside is that it does not last long at all. Plan to reapply monthly for a daily driven car, and even less for a car that gets washed very often to just clear the dust.

Summary
No hype, it's quite good (July 27, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
I'm not aware of any hyperbole coming from the manufacturer and found this product to do what it claimed (coming from a marketing guy, that's high praise!). Application was like smoothing on "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" and removal was just as effortless. As noted, the applicator that came with the tub was as useful as the pad that comes with your PC. But since I've got a bunch of applicators laying around from lesser products I've abandoned, this was hardly a concern. Durability seems on par with other high-end carnubas; the trade off for a great shine is a shorter life span, but since it's so easy to apply and remove, and as a little will go a long way, I have no problem reapplying it monthly.

Don't believe the hype (June 16, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
After reading all the hype I bit the bullet and bought this. I was phsyched when it came and went through the whole detail process: clay, polish, sealant, P21S (2 coats). I was disappointed with the results.
THe good: It's easy to apply, it's OK in coming off, it won't stain plastic or rubber (Very Good!) a little goes a looooong way so the jar will last for many many applications.
THe bad: You'll need to apply it often because it doesn't last very long, the included pad is flimsy and a pain to work with, the shine is nothing special.
My expectations were set very high going in and P21S failed to live up to them. It's not a terrible product, just not worth the price. #26 or 3M would be a better choice because they offer superior shine, last longer, and are more cost effective.

Looks good, easy to use! (May 29, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
The first thing I think when I use p21s is "Wow, this makes waxing pretty fun." It is so easy to use. I use a meguiars foam applicatior, do a few swipes in the jar and apply. I let it sit for not long at all, maybe a minute and then wipe off. Sometimes I do the next panel and then wipe off, just depends on the amount of time I have.
I really like the warm glow this product gives to my paint. I have been a long time (~4 years) zaino user, so I have been a bit spoiled when it comes to slickness and durability. However for a carnuba, this is still pretty slick, and also the most durable of the carnubas I have used. For comparison, it has outlasted megs. #26 and nxt for me personally. It still beads well long after the slickness disappears, so if that is any indication of it still protecting, it is doing well.
I have so much fun applying this stuff it is not even funny. It gives the car a very handsome look. It is a pretty good value, the jar should last a long time.

Excellent (March 22, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
I love this stuff! Really easy to apply and buff off as long as you follow instructions. Gives lovely finish which lasts really well for a natural wax. You get a lot of wax which is probably enough for 20+ applications
Doesn't stain plastic trim which is a big bonus. Only minor criticism is that little lumps break off the wax in the tub.
Highly Recommended.

P21S(uperb) (February 20, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
I bought this wax after reading all the priduct raves on Autopia and I must say it lives up to all the hype.
The jar is a little larger than I expected (a good thing) as it looks small on photographs when there is nothing to compare the size to. Packaging is simple and functional with a small foam applicator, instructions and paper wax cover within the lid.
I like to apply this with the Meguiars yellow sponges and it goes on very smoothly and removal is just as easy, simply wax on, leave it for a moment, whilst you wax a second body panel and then wax off with a good microfibre towel and repeat around the car.
This wax really brought out the silver fleck in my car's paint and looked fantastic, surface was smooth and slick, after being treated to Meg's #80 and VM polish before hand.
Water beads very well and a single layer lasted me a few weeks before the surface lost a degree of slickness.
I really like this wax!

Excellent!!! (January 30, 2005)
Reviewer's Comments
This is my best find in detailing!
P21S is SO easy to use it is untold! - it kind of smears on - like spreading hot butter - easy to get a nice thin application with the supplied foam pad. Leave it a bit (doesn't seem to matter how long you leave it!) and wipe off with a microfibre cloth for anoutstanding finish!
In the UK this sells for £16 - about $32 USD - so it isn't a cheap wax,but when you consider that Meguiars Gold class sells for £13 ($26USD)- it is an absolute bargain!!
