As stated before, this needs to be used with water. I tried putting it on dry, and it was VERY difficult. I recommend putting it on wet on a small area and rinse, rinse, rinse, before it dries and moving on to the next area.

Definitely works, even after washing the car very well prior to using the liquid clay, tons of dirt and contaminents were coming off, the rinsing water was brown.

Poor design for the liquid clay bottle, VERY slippery when wet. Before shaking up the bottle, it is pretty cool to see the three different layers of chemicals in the bottle, A+ for coolness effect. Easy to tell if you didn't shake it up well enough.

A great prep for the next step (the clay bar). I would say it got off 60% of the contaminents, so this is not a stand alone product and has to be followed up with a clay bar. Would be good for a touch up on an already well prepped surface.

FYI: I used this on a 5 year old fleet car that had never seen clay, polish, wax, or anything besides an automatic car wash or a rare dealership wash. So considering the 5 year layer of filth I had to remove, this worked pretty good.

If you are looking for a clay bar replacement and buy this, you will be very disappointed. However if you are looking for a very good oxidation destroying, bug/tar removing wash prior to polishing, this is a hot item. This will bring back a faded/oxidized surface similar to using ColorX or a cleaner wax in your wash step. This leaves a great surface ready for using real clay. I use this on any car that has been neglected as my wash step.

Not bad for the Price.

The 3 Step clay says to clean car thouroughly, Dry and apply step one ICE. Wipe and use clay bar lube/with clay bar.

Step one leaves a residue. It comes off with Step 2 but Its just like paste wax. A bear to get off if it gets on Trim.. But a bit harder to remove. You were forewarned.

I feel that Step one works best with a Mist. Rather than Wet,

I feel that they should give you more clay, To work with.

Overall for the enthusiast that may have a light colored vehicle It will work fine. Or just for a quick touchup.

I decided to try this product and was pleasantly surprised with the results. It did a good job of removing surface contaminants and was particularly easy to use.

As another reviewer mentioned you have to use it with water, and rinse rinse rinse afterward but I am pleased with how well it worked and will continue using it.

This product works but will not directly replace a good detailing clay. The directions of the product do not say to apply to a wet surface, but you need to apply it to a wet surface and rinse well afterwards. The included applicator worked well. ICE liquid clay did leave both test vehicles with a smooth surface and it did remove imbedded contaminants. Best uses as an easy "inbetween" product if you do not have the time for a long clay. It will leave a film behind, so rinse well afterwards.
