Now, I purchased these pads in a 4 pack, so I got a yellow a blue a white and a black. The yellow is the only one I used and it really performed poorly when compared to a cyclo 4" pad.
The design of the beveled edge (they don't seem to offer this 'edge' anymore) was particularly frustrating. After (I am not joking here) 2 applications of the product over a 2x2 area the pad was deflated, seemed to have warped under itself and one of the beveled edge had somehow collapsed and the pad now looks like a poorly cut English muffin. I was using optimum compund with my 7334 DA polisher. about 10-20 lbs of pressure (but I was trying to be SUPER careful and still the pad sucked)
Anyway, I said forget this, tried one of the cyclo pads I had ordered, bam 4 applications, not a hint of failing. I did rest the pads in between using them. The cyclo pads just seem to have a design that deals with heat a LOT better than the LC pads.
Go with them if you are looking for a 4" cutting pad.
