Now, I purchased these pads in a 4 pack, so I got a yellow a blue a white and a black. The yellow is the only one I used and it really performed poorly when compared to a cyclo 4" pad.
The design of the beveled edge (they don't seem to offer this 'edge' anymore) was particularly frustrating. After (I am not joking here) 2 applications of the product over a 2x2 area the pad was deflated, seemed to have warped under itself and one of the beveled edge had somehow collapsed and the pad now looks like a poorly cut English muffin. I was using optimum compund with my 7334 DA polisher. about 10-20 lbs of pressure (but I was trying to be SUPER careful and still the pad sucked)
Anyway, I said forget this, tried one of the cyclo pads I had ordered, bam 4 applications, not a hint of failing. I did rest the pads in between using them. The cyclo pads just seem to have a design that deals with heat a LOT better than the LC pads.
Go with them if you are looking for a 4" cutting pad.

The Edge 2000 Custom 6-inch Orange/Green Foam Pad Product Description
The Edge Custom 6 Inch Orange/Green Foam Pad - Twice the foam on a single pad! The orange foam is a light cutting, closed cell foam with a small pore size. It removes light to moderate swirls and imperfections using a swirl remover or light compound. The green foam has larger pores than the orange and works well to remove moderate swirls and oxidation using a light to medium cut compound.
With a revolutionary Quick Change System, Edge 2000 6-inch DA pads require no backing plate and take only seconds to change. These reticulated polyester urethane foam pads are double-sided, and feature a quick connect/disconnect method of interchanging. You get twice the surface area in one pad and each pad fits your machine like a glove. No slipping, no coming off, and no hook and loop.
The unique design feature of The Edge pads is the Quick Change System. Pads snap into place and will not come off! Just push the release button on the Edge Adapter and the pad pops off. Snap a new pad into place and you’re ready to continue polishing.
The Edge 6 Inch DuraFoam Pad is rounded on the edges, allowing for more contoured buffing, especially in areas that formally were only accessible through hand buffing.
