Member klf23 has this to say about DW443 Heavy-Duty 6" Right Angle Random Orbit:
I live in Australia and have used the Dewalt DW443 about 2 years
I purchased the Dewalt DW443 as I couldn't get the PC in Australia. I enquired through Meguiars about their version of the PC, but had no luck with them either.
I found that a few users on Autopia were using the Dewalt instead of the PC and I was able to find it at Bunnings (with a price match it came to $320AUD). It would have cost me much more to import the PC and use a converter for the power.
The Dewalt is a random orbital like the PC but I assume has more power (having never used a PC, this is a guess from reading on how the PC operates). The unit came with a dust bag, but I don't use that. It also came with a velcro backing plate as standard and all I needed to do was buy the pad. It has a screw in handle like the PC, but it is sometimes easier to just grip the machine itself.
I have used the Dewalt on 4 different cars with the Meguiars 8006 yellow pad. The cars varied from a 5 year old work car to my new MINI (which is what the machine was originally bought for). There has never been any lack of power from the Dewalt. I rarely run it at full speed for two reasons. One is that it doesn't seem to need it and the other is the vibration at high speed. I have read that this vibration is normal, but I think there may be something out on this unit that is contributing to the vibration at high speed. I feel like the unit is more difficult to control (I don't want it to get away from me) at high speed because of the vibration.
I once tried to remove some water etching on a piece of glass from a shower with the Dewalt at high speed for about 10 minutes. The vibration made my hands swell up for about half an hour. Keeping the unit about half to three quarters speed works best and has helped to remove all micro marring and some small scratches on two stage paint. The unit is not heavy but after a while it can be a strain on the arms when working on the sides of the car.
I have heard that the PC will "bog down" when pressure is applied. This does not happen with the Dewalt. I don't typically push it down anyway but just guide it around and let the power of the unit do the work. The Dewalt is a loud machine and sounds powerful. You won't be having many conversations or listening to music while using it, but I haven't had any compliants from neighbours about using it. It's less loud than a circular saw, but louder than a vacuum.
Overall, If you can't get the PC, or would like a unit with more power that won't bog down and you don't mind a bit of weight and a bit of noise I would recommend the Dewalt DW443.

ROTEX® RO 150 Product Description
Even before you switch it on, you’ll be impressed by the sleek, ergonomic design and convenient, thumb-ready controls of Festool’s new Rotex 150 FEQ 6” dual mode sander. Look closely and you’ll see a small green button near the sanding pad: push it to change pads without tools! The futuristic cowling above the pad removes easily, and when in place, prevents damage to perpendicular surfaces while sanding! Large bosses on either side of the housing accept the auxiliary handle, which is helpful when sanding aggressively. The sleek hand-guard is actually the Dust Extraction port, and removes with the push of a green button for improved access in tight quarters. After the visual inspection, it won’t be easy to resist the urge to attach the “Plug-It” removable cord and fire it up. While you will undoubtably detect some gear noise from the new heavy-duty, double-sealed long-life gear train, you will be amazed by the smoothness in both the Random Orbit and Rotary/Random Orbit modes. Of course, tool-free pad changes make it easy to go from the standard soft pad for coarse or fine sanding on curved and flat surfaces to the optional hard pad for heavy-duty sanding and edge work, or to the supersoft pad for contoured surfaces. Felt and sheepskin pads are available for polishing and buffing. Connect the Rotex sander to an optional Festool dust extractor to capture nearly 100% of all tool-generated particulates. The JetStream dust collection in combination with an optional Festool Dust Extractor extends abrasive life and captures nearly all of the sanding dust to help maintain a clean workplace.
