I\'ve used a variety of pads from different companies, but I always seem to find myself going back to these pads. They\'re soft as the name Soft Buff imples, but they do the job of cutting very well. Contrary to popluar opinion, they can be used with the PC, however the best results come from using them with a rotary. I\'ve used the pad with Optimum Car Polish, Menzerna Power-
Gloss, and some other liquid compounds. The result are almost always the same; good cutting action, without serious marring to the paint. The only peevs I do have is with the centering hole. on some pads, the backing is off center, so you may end up having to center a little off the hole. Also the centering hole is in the backing pad, and does not go throug the pad itself, making centering even more complicated. Other than that, I can\'t say I have been any less than happy with the way the pad works. It\'s not the most aggressive of cut pads, but, combined with the right compound or polish, it will make short work of all but the most severe defects.
