this is one of those products that you take complatley for granted, and im very suprized there arent about a bazillion reviews for it... sadly the original wooden handle is no longer made(or atleast not available where i live) but the newer plastic handle works just as well, and is durable.. it says on the packaging that it works better as it gets older, and dirtier... , i think after the first few uses, it has worked great. .. this works gret for removing dust, not dirt. youd be an idiot to press this onto the sides of your car to remove dirt that was stuck on when wet. for those of you who use a QD spray to remove dust.. y? this works just as well, and if used right, wont damage your paint at all, and takes less than half the time... my favorite use for this is durring the onset of spring when your car gets COVERED in pollen. this takes it off so easily, so while all the other cars are yellow and splotchy , your car is nice n clean. plus. my driveway is 1/4 mile long and gravel (detailers nightmare.. i know), and this is good for removing dust once you get to the end of the driveway..the onyl thing i dont really like is that it claims to b washable.. ive never washed mine, but i have a friend who did, and it was all tangled n weird so he had to buy a new one...but ive had mine for about 3 years, so its not like its gotta b washed all the time, shake it and the dust comes off (but the red strings turn to brown pretty quickly).. overall an awesome product that has saved me a ton of time. i reccomend it.
