    Opticoat 2.0

What is the minimum cure time before the Opticoat 2.0 can get wet?

I have a co-worker that just got a New to Him Acura TL. He asked if I would mind helping clean up the exterior and seal it. I agreed and he asked me what the best most durable protection would be.

I would like to opticoat it but he parks outside and lives near the ocean, so it gets pretty misty there even if it does not rain.

I guess we can always do a regular sealant but the OC 2.0 would be great for him.

    Thanks

24 hours is the cure time

DP paint coating mught be a better option.

It can get wet after 1 hour. Thanks to Setec, I now know its:

    - 1 Hour to get wet

-24 hours til you can wash

    - 1 week until until its "chemical resistant"

    For OC.

That mist is salt water. I don`t know if I`d risk it before 24 hours.

Going to Go with Reload if it can stand alone or with UPGP or BFWD.

He is not able to cover it because it is against the HOA rules. PITA. So it will be what it will be.
