Question Keeping my wrap/foil clean in China

    Hi guys

I am having big problems keeping my wrap clean with all the pollution here so I am looking for advise on a coat to improve this. I don`t have access to in door parking and washing the car every day before putting the cover on - well... So, what I do now is washing the car with normal soap water once/week and then I scrub down the wrap with Bug&Tar Remover roughly every 2 months. I don`t see dirt stick to paint the same way so I think it`s the surface hardness (softness) of the wrap that does the difference. Can you recommend a product for this? I am thinking nano or ceramic coating?

    - Thanks, Niels

PS: I cannot make the picture upload work - Ill try again later.

    Welcome!

I`ve had great success with OptiGloss and Pinnacle Black Label.

FWIW - have you tried rinseless washing?

I have googled rinseless washing a bit, but I dont understand how that applies to my problem? Do you mean that these products can leave a surface that the dirt will not stick to?

Welcome! You have some very specific problems there in your country with the industrial fallout. One of the many coating products would help you save your clear coat or wrap. If I was in your situation I would decontaminate my car every 3-4 months even if it was coated. Keeping it covered is a good idea. For specific products I would find a detailer in your area and check out his work. You can buy many different coating products made right in your country and will not have to pay shipping. You have a service similar to eBay there (the name escapes me) that sells many types of coating products. Be careful many are pro strength and if you try to apply them and mess up you will have to wet sand the stuff off, this is why I suggest you go with a detailer in your area.
