Great job on that 2014 with red flake!
It actually does look like a new paint job.
Just wondering why such a new car was in such bad shape?
    4.5 hours, impressive!

    Thank you very much.

Well, it sat for a long time on the dealers lot and they didn`t take great care of the paint. The owner is worse and frequently puts her purse and keys on the paint. The car is parked outside year around and daily driven. It had little to no LSP for the majority of it`s existence too...

To make things worse the owner isn`t interested in proper care or regular maintenance washes (3-4 swirl-o-matic washes a year at best). That`s also why I only corrected the big scratches and not the entire car/swirls (except on the door pillars were they were very apparent).

Today I received my FK1000P and opened it up to whaft the smell, I actually took a long breath in, it doesn`t smell too bad compared to other automotive smells, and the Collinite 476s doesn`t smell that bad either!

TheMEanGreen- I share your appreciation for the "industrial scent" of those two products

Now if it`ll just work as well for you as it does for me!

I`m certainly hoping it does, especially the heat. Measured the temp of the paint the other day at 166 degree F, and that wasn`t at peak heat or sun position of the day!

Well at least the FK1000 should spread easily!!!!!! Can`t imagine working on a car with that heat.

MeanGreen, curious why you`re going with the Collonite over the the FK1000 rather than two coats of the FK1000?

I`m hoping he doesn`t end up doing that and just sticks with the FK1000P I too think that topping FK1000P with Collinite would be a step backwards.

I will be playing around with combos of the two, to see what I like. I had the change to get both, so I thought `what the heck.` I do neighbors cars every now and then, so the Collinite could come into play there.

I know right?! In the mornings I literally have a 2 hour window of time (6:30am-8:30am) if I want to do correction or wax, it just gets too hot to fast.

TheMeanGree- Much as I rave about the FK1000P being All That, I use the 476S on my `93 Audi as it works out better with that car`s terrible-condition paint. So it oughta be good for the neighbors` rides.
