    Re: Recommend best car shampoo?

Just finished off my gallon of CG Mr.Pink yesterday. It was as good as any other car soap I`ve tried and the price per gallon is low. Mr. Pink also worked very well in my foam gun and foam cannon`s the foam was so thick like shaving cream (I use 4oz of Mr. Pink in 5-gallon buckets and foam gun & cannon)

I`ve already picked up gallons of Meg`s Hyper Wash and CG Citrus Wash and Gloss, which should I try next?

I already had just gotten mr pink. Just ordered some 901 and citrus wash as well. Citrus is for my family`s cats ill be doing next week, as well as the occasional paid detail- not for maintenance washes. Ill also use before i apply my coating, ti strip any wax. My collection of towels, product, etc is getting a bit out of hand.

I had a small sample of Mr. Pink and want to get some more. My initial reaction it is the first CG soap I semi-liked (did not like CWG, purple one (forget the name), MaxiSuds). I used it at 1 oz per 2 gallons per their web site.

I would describe 3D pink soap as a fun version of Hyperwash.

Believe me it does not strip your LSP--I`ve tested it.

I haven`t used many others (Megs NXT, DG901, Optimum), but my favorite so far is Finish Kare 118.
Since I`ve been using Megs D114 as my rinseless, I`ve been spoiled with unstained wash media. I get the same benefit with FK118.
It also seems to deliver greater cleaning power which allows a lighter touch.

Really? I got mr pink first even though CW was what id really wanted. Everybody makes it sound like CW will strip if mixed a little too strong.

I`ve done the Dawn thing and still get beading. IMO my sealant isn`t really gone until I hit it with a mild abrasive or chemical cleaner.

Optimum is by far my favorite as well. The blueberry smell is awesome and has a lot of suds. I have super hard water, so I have done the ONR in added to the wash, but I feel like it makes the soap have less suds.

On the rare occasions that I do a "traditional" wash I use a blonde boar`s hair brush using foam gun method and CarPro Reset. Dry using Rag Co. "Dry Me A River" WW. MOST of my washes are rinseless IUDJ washes using the "Air Injection" method. No marring to date.

My favorite soap is CGs V7 soap. I love the orange creamsicle smell and the great shine it leaves behind. It produces loads of foam with my foam gun and as far as I know does not degrade my LSP.

    Re: Recommend best car shampoo?

I generally like higher concentrated soaps where I use 1oz-1.5oz per 5 gallons of water, not 1 oz per 1 gallon of water. I have the gallon pumps so I just pump the soap directly into the bucket and it`s super easy. Here are my favorite in order:

    1. Shine Supply Shine Soap--cost effective, highly concentrated, has protective polymers, water softening agents to not worry about water spots, smells great, and super lubricating. The wash mitt almost slipped out of my had it`s that lubricating.
    2. Adam`s Car Shampoo--highly concentrated, cleans well, high lubricity, smells pretty good, and suds a ton. It is very pricey though. $40 for a gallon of soap is ridiculous IMO
    3. Megs Hyper wash--superrrr cost effective, smells ok, tons of suds, pretty high lubricity.
