    Yep.

I actually always have to remember this when replying to a soap topic. Because I have 902 (gallon) and so thats how I think of it.

Use any soap and be sure to rinse well at the end.

I have used and am happy with the following:

    1. Lusso-Very Mild to LSP
    2. PB Super Slick and Suds-Very Slick-can be used for bucket or foaming vehicle

These are my current go to shampoos and have been for a while.

Most streaking is not the soap but the dirt leaking out of areas you did not wash well.

Re: Best Soap for Black Cars..

I just used DG901 for the first time today on my black 2013 Accord. Really like how the water sheets after flooding (car has been sealed with TPnS, WDAFPP, CS, & MS wax). Blew most of the water off with my leaf blower (haven`t splurged for a blaster yet...seen some other people use leaf blowers so thought I would give it a try). Really like the blowoff method...and with a good soap (and proper sealant process underneath) it blows off without spots left behind, and less towels to increase chances of scratching. If I get a blaster, I don`t think I will towel dry ever again. Will just use a 530+ MF towel with WDPS or MSID after it`s blown dry.

Hmmmmm, I have so many favorite car soaps...

BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo- Designed to work with any BLACKFIRE LSP, from BlackICE to Midnight Sun and everything in between. Since I usually use BLACKFIRE products on black, this is probably my number 1 choice.

Duragloss 901- The budget-friendly super soap.

1Z Einszett Perls- Still, IMO, the glossiest wash n` wax product available. Water will bead off your glass for days.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus Shampoo- Super Slick with Amazing Rinsing.

IMO any good soap that has good lubricity (slickness) is going to work on any color car. I`m unaware of any car soap that is designed for a specific color.

That said your biggest culprit is the water and how many minerals are in it. Hard water no matter how good your soap is, will leave water spots, and that will be more noticeable on darker colors like your black car. You can minimize that by washing the car when its cool to touch or in the shade that slows the drying process down, allowing you to get the water off with a micro fiber towel.

The car soap of choice for me is PB Super Slick and Suds with Carnunba
