Wheel Wax, Long Lasting Wheel Protection!

one of the unsung items. it has always treated me good. there is better out now, but they were one of the first with a wheel sealant. application is like applying wax. let haze on wheel, buff with MF.

I did a Subaru we just purchased and applied Opticoat. Makes cleaning the wheels easy as pie.

There are a lot great wheel sealants out there. Wheel Wax is the first I remember seeing. It creates a slick surface and a very bright shine on silver colors.

That said when it comes to consumer opinion level surveys I`m a tad suspect of the findings. If this was conducted by unbiased pro`s that are not attached to a site that sells all of the related car care products, and test for protection, durability and brake dust buildup over equal driving conditions & weather. Then I would tend to lend more credit to it.

I agree 100%. I got 2 jars of 476 when Harbor Freight was blowing it out dirt cheap. I am set for life.

As long one apply`s some type of protection to their rims, then that`s great in my book.

But isn`t better to put down something that will last, rather than spend time and money on a product that didn`t do what you expected it to do? That`s what is so great about detailing forums, you can learn by someone else`s mistake.

I had wheelwax at one time but I just didn`t care for it all that much. I didn`t think it was anything special compared to other sealants I had. I ended up only buying it once and once it was done I went back to using what I use on the paint
