    megs hyper dressing for tires

Cant say i have used it on tires yet. I mixed a 1:1 bottle to try this weekend. I will be using a foam applicator to even it out. What can i expect with sling? And i know it will not last as long as a gel. In short, how is it for tires?

haven`t used hyper dressing yet but I do like Meguiars Silicone-Free Dressing for tires and trim. several light coats seems to work better. no sling.

It will not sling once dried. Looks good, but poor durability. If your in a dry climate it`s ok, but it won`t go through a rain before washing off.

    Rsurfer is spot on ---

    No sling once dry
    Looks and smells great
Very short durability - none in rain..
This is a good product to spray on all the black plastic under the hood too..

Re: megs hyper dressing for tires

I love HD and have been using it for years. I cut mine 3:1 and apply with a cheap MF towel. As others already noted, no sling after dry. Durability is definitely not like solvent based dressings, but I could go 2 weeks easily Acura without rain (seems to vary between tire manufactures). If it rains it`s pretty much gone, but then again my car would be dirty too so why would I care if my tires still looked dressed at that point?

    Just my $.02

Now, if you REALLY want a coating that lasts, Tuff-Shine really does - even in Washington State !!!

I know Robert just posted some picture on Facebook of Hyperdressing on tires. They looked really good. I plan to try some this weekend on my tires.

This is HyperDressing at 1:1 dilution ratio applied with a mf applicator pad and a pencil brush in the sidebiter tread area

Re: megs hyper dressing for tires

Like Rsurfer said, durability isn`t that great but it looks awesome once dry
Cleaning of the tire is very important before dressing or coating tires. The tire will still look nice and dark black once the HD has worn off
Coatings are the way to go if your doing it for yourself, my Triumph TR6 has had DP Tire Coating on since December and still look great!

I used to use it but it got sling everywhere. I even let it dry for 12 hours.

Re: megs hyper dressing for tires

I used it on tires all the time.
Low sling, not great durable, but a very natural look.
    And it`s pretty cheap too.
    Give it a shot!
