Ultima Paint Guard Wash shampoo JEFFS Werkstat

Having mentally transitioned to coatings and their related products, I`m gradually getting rid of all my "traditional" products.

This Ultima shampoo is about 35% - 40% full:

    JEFFS Werkstat needs no introductions:

I guess I`m looking for things that might be coating or coating-related. Thanks.

say it isn`t so. Why is the Ultima Car Wash no longer a valid choice? Are these other specifically targeted coating wash products really going to make a noticeable difference? Perhaps you just need to use a higher dilution ratio since the paint is coated. Just asking Tom.

Well, the coating mfr recommends using a completely neutral (body shop-safe) shampoo....a product that leaves no residue behind so the coating can do its job. I suspect 90% of the shampoos out there would not meet that criteria. It`s the same reason they don`t recommend the use of QD products or "toppers" of any sort. So many of the products we want to use do leave a "sticky" surface, whether we can detect it or not.

I`ve been using the RESET product and CG`s Mr Pink on a routine basis. Getting very good results. This does not diminish the Ultima`s performance in any way. It`s one of the best shampoos money can buy.

We are in heavy pollen season now. I "think" using the RESET shampoo keeps the car just a bit cleaner between washes. The RESET is also very good for removing tree sap I`m finding. It`s a stronger shampoo.

Great choice Tom, just use it full strength - do NOT dilute.
