You`d think if the guy was half way smart he`d show at least a <em class=`bbc`>little[/i] more subtlety.

I would love to delete each and every one of his posts. Its not like they were valuable posts anyway.

    Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

The other day I received a PM on one of the forums that I visit. The message was from Bugatti Autombiles USA asking if I could detail a Veyron Super Sport that was in town for the Classy Chassis show. Well of course I said yes, I was already attending the show for a shop that I do some work for and have about 6 cars and 3 bikes I have cleaned up for it. We scheduled it for today and I was given the number to their test driver. We arranged to do the car at the shop that I go to from time to time, the guys at this shop are exceptionally nice and allow me to work there even if I`m not doing anything for them. I COULD NOT WAIT!!!! I met with the test driver(we wont mention his name just in case) and he told me Bugatti only wanted the car washed thoroughly and the inside cleaned. No wax, no polishing, no leather treatment......simply basic so if you are wanting to see a 33 page full corection, you wont see it here.

Anyway, the car was dirty from driving around and doing a press drive for Car and Driver(I believe) at Elington Field running up and down a run way yesterday.

    Interior
    1Z Cockpit Premium
    Swissvax brush
    Water to clean windows
    Vac

    Exterior
    1Z Perls
    Swissvax brush
    Schmitt
    Various brushes for wheels/wheel wells
Big Blue II waffle weaves for drying
I did spray the car down afterwards with Reload because I couldn`t just leave it the way it was

I apologize for some of the pictures, I have to blur out the other vehicles in the shop. Some of the pictures are with my iphone and others are with the camera. I didn`t have my tri pod so they aren`t the best pics but you can still tell what I was working on LOL.

These are when it first came in and I began washing her

All finished washing and drying, I used the reload right before he left so this is without it at the moment

This is when he got to the show......the second time. He didn`t know he couldnt have a full tank of gas so he had to go drive around to get down to a 1/4 tank, must be a horrible job LOL

And a little video of when he was leaving the shop

Here is a picture of the same car getting the paint corrected. Very cool!

How did the paint look? I have wondered how bad it has gotten swirled/scratched in the meantime.

When I was working on it I was thinking to my self if it was the same one. That`s funny. Actually the finish was in really grea lt shape. A few light scratches, not swirls but other than that it looked amazing. It was an honor and a real pleasure working on it as you very well know.

Great car to work on, even for a wash!

Looks like Todd`s Ult. Wax is still beading nicely.

The wax wasn`t bad that was on there. Some areas looked like they could be re touched, thats why I used the Reload. I didn`t feel right not putting anything on there

    Jay,
That is one hell of a car. It is so cool that you got an opportunity like that to clean her up. I would love to just see it in person, let alone get my hands on it. She looks great. And how cool, that it was the same car that Todd did such a masterful job on?

BTW, those headlights looked sick as it was about to pull out of the shop!

Yeah, in person it was that dark. On the video it made it look darker so the headlights stuck out more.

Awesome vehicle, must have been really cool to work on one, even if just a wash.
