SVT`s thread about our first cars got me thinking about the things we did (or wanted to do) to customize our first car(s). I was wondering what you guys did or wanted to do in order to customize your first car(s).

In my case, I repainted my `77 Cutlass Black Cherry. Then I wanted to take it to a shop and have a 1/2 vinyl top installed (Car had a full vinyl top that I quickly ripped off when I repainted the car). Then I wanted to put a set of Goodrich Radial T/As with a set of either Center Line Auto/Drag Rims or American Racing Outlaw II rims.

But alas, the car got stolen and broken into so I wound up selling it.

Well my first car was totaled to soon to do custmizing. But with my second car i wanted to put the ventvisors up and headlight covers fog/driving lights on it. But the ventvisors and headlight covers arent made for my car. That is the problem with a bottom of the line korean car. Cheap yes but cant get much aftermarket for it. /

    2008 Escalade Black

I had an 08 Caddy Escalade today for an exterior correction. After a wash and quick clay I hit it with M105/cyan with my rotary at about 1300 to 1500. I followed that with Menz SIP/white pad at speeds 1000, up to 1600 then back down to 1000.

    I went from this:

    Puckman -

    Just beautiful, just beautiful !!!

Great combination choice for your Rotary - how does your Cyan Pad look after doing this big beast ? Is it starting to shred yet ?

I just love Menz Super Intensive Polish - it finishes down so nicely..

What was your LSP choice ?

You win the "King of Rotary Power" T-Shirt Award this week, big guy !! :notworthy::

Thanks Dan. Surprisingly my cyan pads are holding up very well so far. I used 3 different ones to complete the M105 stage so each one only saw about 1/3 of the paint`s real estate!

LSP was Zaino Z2Pro. I`m still trying to use up the last of it before I get some Blackfire. Plus it looked stunning on this black paint.

Very nice work! Thay looks fantastic!

    Thank you Dave.

What a difference. Night and day. Nice work.

    Thanks Ron.
