    Recent Ferrari and Lotus Pics

Still learning how to take good photos, but this is a start. We detailed these on Tuesday and thought everyone here would like to see them.

The first one is a 1993 Ferrari 340a Spyder and the second one is a 2005 Lotus Elise.

Customer was very pleased, and will have us back to do his nice ones now that he tested us on his clunkers.

Ferrari before (early morning no sun):

Ferrari after (noon time lots of sun):

Ferrari pics don`t do the transformation justice, these cars were definitely in need of some proper polishing.

    Lotus afters:

    I shouldhave clunkers like those

    Nice looking job.
The Lotus looks wild, it looks fast parked there and almost like it`s grinning at you.

Troy could you drop in one of those clunkers with my next order?
A man has got to recognize his limitations, and then learn how to adapt within those confines. Then go out and conquer.

Great job on some very nice vehicles! I would love to be able to detail one of those. I can`t wait to see the after pics of his top end vehicles. Do you know what else he has?
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a soldier.

He showed me a couple classics he had there at his house. One was a cobra and another was a bmw. I know he used to race cars and I`m told he has quite a collection in a warehouse. Great guy, I didn`t ask too many questions about his other cars, wanted to make sure he was happy with these. He is having us back to prep a few for a car show in mid February. So I should have more pics then.

I would rather not say what products I used. Being the owner of the forum, I don`t think it would be apropriate for me to do so. I will say that they were products offered by the sponsors here.

    Process was rather simple;

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. Trim
    4. DA Polish
    5. LSP

    Troy,

The pictures offer a great visual aid when used to compliment the process and products that you used.

Why not tell what products you used -it`s valuable information, not pushing products or favoring one over the other unless these are your last 2 details of your life (LOL).

Re: Recent Ferrari and Lotus Pics

It must be me but when viewing the last picture of the Lotus all I could envision was the Lotus smiling as big as the owner after seeing the results of the detail. Exemplary!!!

As stated by others it would be nice to have a chance to detail a high end clunker(LOL) such as those two shown.

I think the detailing world will be able to make it without knowing what I used on these cars.

The pictures were posted because I thought the members here would like to see them. They weren`t meant to be a step-by-step on how I detail cars or to show off the products I use.

Great idea, Chee!! But I might have to shrink it a little to fit it into a box that the USPS can handle . . .

BOT - nice job on those "clunkers", Troy!
Don`t it always seem to go, you don`t know what you`ve got til it`s gone?

Re: Recent Ferrari and Lotus Pics

Great work on some beautiful automobiles.

The privilege of working on something like those is nice, but the responsiblity would be too much for me.
I was concerned when I worked on some friends SUVs, a black Saturn VUE and a Silver Chevrolet Trail Blazer that were a year old. Both had several parking lot scuffs plus the usual minor marring. They both turned out great, but it probably took me twice as long as I spend on my own cars.
Can you imagine messing up the paint on that Ferrari?
