    That close up of the damage shows it came like that from the factory..
    The cracked edges are painted - see --

    If this crack had happened after the machine was delivered, those edges would not be painted..

    Hard to believe it went all the way through and then through QC and got put in a box..

    Hopefully, it was just a fluke..

    I remember way back when it was always bad to buy a new Bimmer that had been assembled on a Friday...

    Not that it makes a difference, but it wasnt even on the off position it was on Speed 5 when I opened package lol
