Headin up to some colder climates this week. Wondering if there`s anything I can throw in my water tank to ensure it won`t freeze? It`s a 35 gallon tank and I do most my washes via ONR now.

    Thanks!

I think the only thing you could add would be anti-freeze or alcohol. Neither of those things would be very desirable in your water.

Oil pan heater plugged into a 250 watt DC/AC inverter running off of 12V from your battery. Stick the oil pan heater (it`s just a flat rubbery pad) on the side of the tank.

We use them up here to keep our oil from turning into glue at -40 degrees.

You just need a tank heater really.

I`m sure you can find them cheaper than this but this was the first one I came across.

Drain the tank nightly, fill it the next day with however much you think you`ll need. Keep the tank spigot and hoses dry/clear so they don`t freeze up, and run antifreeze through your power washer.

not a bad idea, but it would have to be run over night(s) to prevent it from freezing.
