Re: Found Good Towel Stain Remover

I washed my sheets (bed) with this stuff. Sheets are plain white. I put no bleach in the wash - just Persil. Sheets came out glowing white like I put in a half gallon of bleach. This stuff is better than Tide.

Scent is a very mild clean scent. I bought Gain detergent a few times (green bottle) and my clothes and whole garage reeked like dollar store perfume.

    Persil is legit.

Re: Found Good Towel Stain Remover

I used this yesterday on my waffle weave drying towels. Granted the dirt was fresh, but it removed everything.

The detergent does have a scent out of the bottle (I purchased the blue Intense Fresh liquid pictured in Tom P`s post), but I didn`t notice a particularly strong scent at the completion of the wash cycle.

Seems like a good product at a very reasonable price.

I think the Amazon offerings are from Germany or the UK. Didn`t the article said it was going to be a Walmart exclusive?

I used this on a huge load of my interior and worse microfibers and wow! What an amazing turn around. I am REALLY impressed with this stuff!

Not to mention my wife uses it alone for laundry now...

Are you guys that are having such great success with this detergent using a fancy front-loader, or an old-fashioned machine like us old-fashioned guys use?

I have a top loader that thinks it`s a front loader. (Samsung)

Actually I need to make a review for this since it really isn`t optimal for detail use since it can hold dirt/sand at the bottom

Doesn`t it get pumped out from the bottom? How is it really any different than a front-loader...part of the drum will be on the "bottom" even if the drum is turned on its side. No matter what the axis of the drum, there will be particulate which will be affected by gravity, and collect somewhere.

True, but never had stuff collect. It always seemed to drain with the water, but this has some fins that sort of block it I guess

    I`ll post it later

I have both a HE Front-loader (household use) and an old-tech top-loader (garage duty). The latter is *infinitely* more effective for cleaning anything that`s truly dirty, but the HE does have that "Sanitary" cycle which is good for MFs (after they`re already basically clean, thanks to other washer).

I got an old school contracter grade townhouse special top loader. My mom says side loaders suck - and she is a clothes washing expert.
