Exactly. If you`re going to compete though you put out a equal or better product at a lower cost. You don`t come out of the gate as an unknown at the same price as the market leader.

Well, they`re trying to get Tide to drop their price...that`s the objective.

My local appliance store has sold Persil for years. I believe you`ve got to sell it (past tense) if you sold Meile appliances. The price in the appliance store was staggering, nose-bleed territory. Can`t image they sold much during the year.

Wow. There is a name from the past. I remember him well. I met him at SEMA when he was on Autopia back in the day. Super nice guy.

That particular SEMA was one for the books, Autopian-wise. Lots of good people there, still kicking myself for not making it that particular time.

They can afford to charge as much as Tide as you get to experience the wonderful ambiance while shopping at Walmart.

It may be that they had other distribution arrangements that have been superseded by the Wal-Mart one which seems to be effective 3/15/15.

Well back to the subject at hand. Other than the OP has anyone really tried this and found it better than sliced bread? It`s *not* frangrance free which in and of itself is enough for me to stay away, but if it`ll bring my dog back to life and make my kids stop running up cell phone bills I`ll try it.

I bought 4 of the 5 Persil products a few weeks ago and have been using them regularly. I did not purchase the 2in1 ProClean that Swanic originally posted about. I can say with certainty that these detergents are getting old, tired kitchen towels cleaner and cleaner with every subsequent wash. I`ve never seen another detergent do that with these old towels. I believe it`s the ProClean Sensitive Skin in a hot wash that`s having the biggest impact. I`d like to try the one Swanic mentions...I`ll pick it up the next time I`m in W*mart.
