Opinions/prefernces/experiences sure do vary with regard to using DWV in the rinse cycle(s). I often use it in the penultimate rinse, not in the final one.

I think that the sanitize cycle will be to hot for the micro fiber towles

The Sanitize cycle works great on all my MFs. Certainly not as hot as boiling them, which some MF manufacturers advocate.

I haven`t found a need to use DWV since I started using 3D Towel Kleen--really does a great job on MF towels (and it`s inexpensive), but I can see the need from time to time to use Persil for the really dirty towels.

Re: Found Good Towel Stain Remover

I bought some of this detergent last week. It`s a WALMART-only offering. I guess it`s a German product that ranks high. Walmart is trying to use it as leverage against Tide so they`ll lower their prices. I believe all of the variants are HE-rated. The fragrance is going to be too strong for some, but I`ve done about 5 loads with it and it does clean really well. I did a load of MF towels this morning. I`ll have to give a close inspection tonight when they come out of the dryer.

Thanks for mentioning that, might sway me towards sticking with Tide (Ultra Stain Release) for clothing and other household textiles.

Aw yeah....I really miss Superbee 364 too, always felt that he and I are kindred spirits in many ways.

Heh heh, as with most things miraculous, YMMV is gonna apply with regard to the Sanitary Cycle. Eh, my Miracle Threshold is perhaps impossibly high in any context but I will allow that if the Sanitary Cycle is available, then sure, use it.

Just to be fair, one of the products I purchased was called "Intense Fresh" or something to that effect. The odor level on the others is more typical.

AH, OK, I`ll keep that in mind, appreciate the clarification.

I haven`t spent enough time with the other products I purchased to be able to comment on the odor level.

I saw the press release where Wal-Mart is supposed to be the exclusive retailer, but there`s a ton of Persil for sale on Amazon, even Amazon Prime (although Amazon isn`t the seller for any of it). They have all different flavors of liquid as well as powders and paks.

Looked at it in Wal-Mart today. Doesn`t really seem like it`s a Tide competitor, given they`re selling a pretty unknown product in the grand scheme of things at a price that was pretty much the same as Tide.

Tide controls about 60% of the market. See WSJ article on this discussion.
