Re: Nattys Liquid and Paste Layering Advice

I`m looking to try this spit shine technique today. I`ve got a few layers of Natty`s blue paste, and on top a coat of Wolfgang Rudoulph wax from about 2ish weeks ago. Would it be ok to spit shine a couple layers of Natty`s blue paste on top?
I just put my distilled water in the freezer so I should be ready to wax in about 1.25-1.5 hours

Cool, figured it wouldn`t make any difference, but I just asked not knowing whether it made a difference if the wax you are topping with is different from what you are topping

I would guess not the wax, but maybe the solvents, but that`s what spit shining gets rid of

Just doing 1. Thinking red again. Like the pop of gloss on top of the depth there already from black hole, black x2 and blue still working well

But I do remember blue smelling like cotton candy or something delicious

    Looks very nice.

So in basic terms, what are the "signature" or unique characteristics of each one of these three paste waxes? Based on ya`lls experience with them.

    Red- ???
    Blue- ???
    Black- ???

Re: Nattys Liquid and Paste Layering Advice

I will leave that to the king...or PB..I just barely used blue on this car during this thread a few weeks ago.

    To me,

Black: dark liquid depth (smooth deep shine )
Red: adds a bright pop, enhances flake IMO (enhances colors, not so great on concealing so is best applied last or on good paint)
Blue ? Duno just used it once then topped with Red later that day.

I feel getting the beta nattys black last winter ruined experiencing blue for me since black is one of my favorite waxes.

Blue = deep, rich pool of oil
    Red = Bright blingy shine

Only used black a couple of times, imho it`s look is a combo of both, but not quite as deep or rich
