Blackfire Total Polish & Seal VS Optimum Poli Seal

    Hey guys,

I am looking for an AIO product to include with my basic detailing packages.

Long term protection is not my goal, I am looking for something to give a nice shine and clean the paint well. Some correction would be nice, however I understand these products cannot do it all.

Which one would you recommend between Blackfire and Optimum?

    Thanks.

I cant speak for Poli Seal but I have used TPnS and have had great results, TPNS will clean up haze and does minor correction too.

If you are a detailer grab a bottle of TPnS and Blackfire Crystal Seal. Its easy and saves tons of time, and you will be surprised by durability.

just did two vehicles for a friend of mine today. bf tpns followed up by bf crystal seal. very nice results. if you need more correcting power also look into Meguiars Paint Reconditioning Cream D151, leaves a nice finish and has more correcting power than bf tpns.

I considered D151 as well, only problem is that it will very expensive for me to order it since I live in Canada. Is there a big difference in cut between TPNS and D151?

d151 definitely has more cut than tpns. i usually use it on older vehicles or those with problem finishes. a gallon goes a long ways and at half the price of bftpns, it`s hard to pass up for volume work.
i still love bftpns, but reserve it for newer, less beat up finishes. topped with bfcs, the finish is hard to beat.

D151 is a really good AIO if you`re using it with a DA, if you`re using it with a Rotary it can be a real PITA because it will leave a lot of little flakes that will restick themselves back on the car!

Re: Blackfire Total Polish & Seal VS Optimum Poli Seal

I will be using it as part of a Wash + Clay + Wax detailing package for my customers. I am not charging them for any polishing in reality.

My intention is to use it as a paint cleaner, by quickly going over the car with my Flex 3401 and a polishing pad to pull more dirt out of the paint, leaving protection on the finish at the same time.

I figure this would give better results than only claying and applying a wax or sealant. We have all seen it on light colored vehicles when the car looks clean after the claying step, yet if you polish the car even lightly the pad picks up a lot of dirt.

For paint cleaning TP&S is great. D151 will definately remove more paint defects (both will clean fine) but I find D151 can be a little finicky in certain climates.

I know Klasse`s AIO is supposed to be a non-abrasive but how would it play in the comparison between D151 and TPnS.

That is very useful information Todd. The last thing I want is a product which is hard to work with especially when the client isn`t paying for any polishing. I need something that works quickly.

Seems like TPNS is much easier to work with based on your experience.

    I will go with TPNS.

Thanks for everyone`s feedback, much appreciated.
