Not new here, but been away too long... And new ride.

    Hi all...
Just thought I`d chime in and do some lurking. Got a new ride and I can`t wait to get some detailing done!
2012 Buick Regal GS, Black Granite Metallic paint, 6 speed manual, 20" rims.
(not my pics... Take delivery Wednesday)

Thanks! Its going to be a LONG, long weekend. Lol

I noticed some curb rash in a couple of the rims. The dealer is going to try and correct the damage (rims, as far as I can tell, are bare aluminum).
I couldn`t find any threads on fixing damage like that...
    Sanding and polishing...?

I hate the waiting....especially when they tell you your car is getting a 150 point inspection and being "detailed".... Detailed! Bahaha...
    They have no clue.
My baby is probably being washed from a xxxxty bucket used to clean 5 other cars using a broom head on a stick. Ugh!

Oh my god! I love turbo cars! Lol. So quiet, and smooth, it just thrust you forward on a seemingly endless wave of torque! Just push on the pedal and away you go.
Its gonna cost me dearly in fuel for the first few fillups!

Unfortunately, I`m in an apartment building right now,so no machine polishing...
For the time being, it`ll be PB`s Black hole and I`ll try Turtle Wax black tint spray-on wax for now. I might have it off the road for winter, and if I find it a nice place to stay, I`ll give it the full on exterior treatment.
