Greetings to all OCD fellow detailers.

    Greetings.

Especially to all fellow OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) friends here. I have mild (self diagnosed) OCD. Nothing major, fully maintainable. In my case it manifests itself by combination of procrastination and perfectionism. If, after delaying it, I start to work on any project I research it for days, spend too on tools and equipment and generally overdo it. Car cleaning is one of those things

So, I finally got sick of a dirty car. Researched many sites on detailing and started to buy "stuff". I already spent probably 10x more than I planned originally. Here is my equipment so far:

    1. Porter Cable DA
with Astro Pneumatic Velcro Backing Pad
    2. For paint:
    Meguiar`s ultimate wash
    Griot`s Garage Paint Cleaning Clay
Chemical Guys pad Orange - to be used with Meguiar`s Ultimate Compound
Chemical Guys pad White - to be used with Meguiar`s Ultimate Polish
Chemical Guys pad Black - to be used with Meguiar`s Ultimate Wax
    3. For windows:
    Griot`s Garage Glass Cleaning Clay
    Sprayway
    Mothers vision glass cleaner
    Griots Garage glass sealant
Griots Garage glass polishing pads (white)
    Griot`s Garage 11074 Glass Polish

    4. Tires
    Meguiar`s Endurance Gel

    5. Leather
Griot`s Garage 10994 Leather Care Spray

    6. Other:
    Liquid Glass
    3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape
Rag company microfiber towels (800 gsm and 300 gsm)
    Chemical Guys hand applicator BUFX201
    Pilot automotive dry blade
    Griot`s Garage 11146SP Speed Shine
Meguiar`s ultimate long lasting protectant (for vinyl)
    Two buckets

Next weekend I will spend on detailing our cars. I need to stop buying things and get our cars perfect. However, if you have any suggestions of what I may be missing please let me know.

Btw, should I get original paint for touch-ups before I start polishing/waxing?

    Regards.
