    New guy from the desert

Hey all, new guy here. Reside in beautiful AZ so I don`t have to deal with much snow. Just lots of sunshine. Have been detailing cars for friends and neighbors for some time. More of a past time then for money. Enjoy standing back and looking at the end result. Just completed a full detail on a co-workers 2012 Mustang. Hope to learn some new stuff and share some tips of my own.

welcome. Is that your garage? If so, did you do the floor yourself?

Yes, it is my detached RV garage. The builder actualy applied the coating due to some issues with the concrete thay could not resolve. Came out really nice. After watching them do the work I am glad I did not tackle this myself.

Do you know what product he used? Was it a true two part? I`ve read a lot about the cheap stuff coming off due to hot tire pickup.

The builder and any quality epoxy flooring company here in town uses APF (Arizona Polymer Flooring) products. And yes it is a true two part. It gets hot here and and I know about hot tire pickup. We have this laid down in both the RV and main garage with no issues. Easy to clean and leaves no tires tracks. At least not as of yet. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Welcome! From "next door", in southern NM. We need MORE people on these forums that live in arid climes with blasting UV, endless sun, and unlimited clinging dust. A white car won`t be bad in de desert. Great garage,...wish I had one like that!
