Newbie here out in beautiful Phoenix Arizona. Not new to detailing but have been out of it for the past few years. I used to work with Fermani back almost 20 years ago before he got famous!! Just picked up a Griots DA to add to my Dewalt I have used for years. I hope to learn all I can since I have a fleet of personal cars to take care of. Now on to plenty of reading trying to figure out what products/pads works best with this new DA.

Here are a few pics of my cars I will be working on.

    Plus a few daily drivers.

Well look what the cat dragged in..........:woot:

That`s right, Rich was my Manager for what? 5 years? You were awsome and I certainly miss those days. Man, I wish I could make some time and scan some of my pictures to post here of some of the cars we did @ the shop. :kewlpics

Yes, things sure have changed in the detailing business. I hope you`re doing well and I`m glad you joined Autopia and bought a DA polisher. I haven`t used my rotary in years and really don`t need to with all the new products designed for DA paint correction. I`d be happy to give you some pointers,,,,just like the old days. :bounce:

That GT front bumper needs alot of love! I still can`t believe you still have the LX vert from back @ the shop days! That sucker was (and probably still) perfect. Good luck with your 9 second shaggin wagon project. That Miata have a Turbo? Can you believe Buckshaw is into those things now??

No photos. We had a great time doing it. As for the Gt Dave, it is getting parted out for the Fairmont wagon project. The body of the Gt is a POS but looks good in the pic The green/blue miata is the wifes and is supercharged. The red one I just bought three days ago and not sure yet what I am doing with it. Paint needs all kinds of love.

No dirt on Dave. We had a good time back then, drove around in either his conv vette or my mustang and detailing cars all day. I remember it very well, good old auto magic products. I remember when we came across 3000-4000 sand paper.
