Don`t know what caused the problem, but I do know the solution: buy B & S pads. They are better than LC.

    Re: Pad Disintegrating!

We have written back and forth a few times in the past few days. I explained the situation and sent him some pictures of the pads. He says he is looking into the problem and will be working to resolve it, whatever that means. Will update when that resolution happens. He said he has heard from several people recently about this same issue.

    Re: Pad Disintegrating!

    Thoughts:

As Barry stated and my personal experience...I prefer the 5.5" pad on a PC.
When using a 3 or 4 inch pad the BP rotation is faster due to a smaller BP/Pad diameter.
I slow the PC speed down when using 3 or 4 inch pads and only use them for spot correction.
Microfiber pads are designed to work at a specific Orbits Per Minute speed. IIRC the OPM is 4800.

    Re: Pad Disintegrating!

Just got another email from David at Lake Country. Supposed to be sending some replacements pads. That`s great customer service, and will most certainly keep us buying their products in the future.

    Re: Pad Disintegrating!

wanted to update the final result here. today I received shipment of a box of pads the same as the ones we had been having trouble with. David really did everything he could do to identify my problem, their problem, and find a resolution for both. says a lot about a company, and its the reason I will continue to buy from them. also threw in a free cyan pad that I have never tried, excited to get to try it out. big thanks to Lake Country!!
