    Compact Powerful Vacuums

Looking for a non-bulky wet/dry vacuum for interiors, specifically for pulling out fluid when steaming/folexing.

    I came up with:
Fein Turbo (98" lift and 151 CFM @ 67 dBA)
    Powr-Flite PF51 (100" lift and 114 CFM @ jet roar)
IPC Eagle EVO (103" lift and 120 CFM @ 57dBa)

    Fein is $300, Powr-Flite is $125, IPC is $270

    Thoughts? Any others?

I have one of these and lie it for the size and the fact that it is wet or dry.

I have had a Rigid in the past and not been happy with the performance and the noise level once it was not new any more.

What size Rigid vac did you have? I have a bunch of their 6hp W/D vacs and absolutely love them both at home and at the shop. They also make a muffler that quiets them down a touch. I have noticed that their car nozzle isn`t designed all that great. I usually grind down the spiky edges so they move across the surface smoother.

I had something about this size. I did not like the hose or hand tool. And when I used the wants to pick up a small flood, they needed to be duct taped together.

Perhaps your model is newer or better built.

If memory serves me right, I think my tank was white and top (motor) area orange plastic.

Mine also came with a crevice tool not pictured.

The IPC eagle is a great tool. It has a cleanable filter, it`s quiet and powerful. I`ve had mine for about three years now and it`s a good today is it was the first time I plugged it in.

Sweet-- I couldn`t find any info on it elsewhere. Have any other wet/dry vacs that you can compare it to?

    Re: Compact Powerful Vacuums

Here`s a link to the IPC Eagle EVO Products : IPC Eagle EVO Canister Vacuum [1000w] - S6EVO The only one I can think of is the Fein 92027236090 Turbo I 6 Gallon Wet/Dry Dust Extractor Fein 92027236090 Turbo I 6 Gallon Wet-Dry Dust Extractor I did a lot of looking before I bought the EVO. I`m a one man shop though and I dump the vac after every car - to make sure my vacuum hasn`t stolen anything when I wasn`t looking... you`d be amazed what people hide under their seats then forget.
