Trying not to let this [stuff] make me despair over a family member who will soon be headed off to college...at least she has a seemingly good head on her shoulders.

But yeah, just get me going on the Adolescentization of the American Adult! Men and women who oughta be grownups are talking/dressing/acting/THINKING like little kids and yet plenty of [individuals] esteem them anyhow. Used to be that young folks wanted to act/be grown up, and Adulthood was something to aspire towards. Now it`s apparently something to be avoided or abdicated.

When I see a parent dressed just like their child I want to...but eh, what`s the use..

These "safe spacers" are going to get chewed up and spit out when they get out of school and get a real job...

`Cause all of us that work in the real world with a VARIETY of people all know "life" is not always PC or "safe".

Reminds me of a person who has worked at my company who runs to HR every time someone farts crooked. This person is universally loathed and laughed at behind their back. Not to mention the HR "efforts" are fruitless.
