in an effort to recoup lost wages from the past few cancellations and realizing my DF trip is now going to cut into my personal pocketbook, I am offering to my local car club a pretty reasonable (ok I lie- its absurd but still apparently too expensive for anyone) deal on a two step polish and csl+exo and I still can`t get any takers

these people are crazy! (crazier than I am for the deal I was offering)

Can someone here please tell me what is going on at the toll booth when dude is there for like several minutes?

I mean, I get my money ready and hand it to the toll taker with my ticket. It`s takes 20 seconds max. But somehow, I always am behind someone who is at the toll booth for like 3 or 4 minutes.

The best part about this is, they do not actually pay the toll until like 30 seconds before they leave. That means, there is like 3 minutes of some discourse going on between the toll taker and the driver.

It`s almost like the toll taker it being held hostage to answer a bunch of stoopid azz questions, and if the driver is satisfied - he will finally pay his toll.

What is he asking the toll taker? Directions? If it was the toll taker, I would just tell the the driver - "I work here, but don`t live around here - I don`t know my way around too well". And then, who under 70 years old today even needs directions? Everyone has some type of GPS on their phone.

So can someone tell me exactly what is going on here???
