Looking for a professional touch up company

That will do a better job than me. I cleaned up my Infiniti finally and I have a few nicks in the paint. The car is pearl white and the stock touch up and dr color-chip are not even close. Looking for a good fix.

Anyone have a company on Long Island or queens?

    Thanks.

Problem with white is its BY FAR the hardest color to match. Good luck in your search.

    Yes. I have gotten from
    The dealer. 2 part
    Lanka
    Dr colorchip
Some place in Arizona that claims to make a 1 part that is dead on. Nope

My car is a 2013 Infiniti m37x sport
Color is moonlight white. It is a pearl white.

I have had success with solid color touch up from the above companies.

The pearl is what is going to make it near impossible to match. White is hard enough without the added pearl.

But the man (or robot) that painted it originally was using a spray system and laying down a unique/one-time pattern of the "stuff" that makes up the pearlcoat. Duplicating that is the challenge. I`ve never had Pearl White touchups turn out great, and even doing whole panels that match is challenging for the best painters.

I do wish you luck with this, maybe you`ll find a miracle worker who can do it. My "good" painter, who wont work on modern/normal vehicles, is one of those guys who can sometimes do the seemingly impossible, but he`ll spend a whole day doing/redoing a few chips.

Jeff, I too feel your sentiment as I`m pretty much under the impression that anything mechanical can be repaired for a price. That said, if only it weren`t pearl...

Go to a local luxury car dealer like Audi and find out who they use.

How about a recommendation (like who you use at your dealer)? The OP is in the area here, if a bit north of you.

Email Larry Ammo, it`s quite a unique situation. He may be up to doing a small video on how to touch up white. His black g55 video was awesome. We`re not that far away from him.

Best to do it yourself, AMMONYC has a great guide on filling/levelling.

I *generally* subscribe to that, but I dunno about figuring out pearlcoats on one`s own...
