Totally awesome can`t think of a nicer gift for a car guy. I got to do a Richard Petty driving expeience a long time ago. It was a blast. Have fun my friend.

    Re: My Valentines Gift

    Pretty damn cool!!
I`ve autocrossed a lot years ago and have turned a few laps on short tracks. I`ve been wrenching on an outlaw winged Sprinter for over 20 years. Never turned a lap in it, since I can`t fit my 36 inch inseam legs into the tight cockpit.
Running at a large enough track and high enough speeds that aero has an effect on grip has to be a whole different ball game.
    Enjoy!

I used to race at Lime Rock and Watkins Glen (till they took my track cert away cuz of headaches)

This will be a completely DIFFERENT type of driving

wow, I thought they took the cert away for mental instability. I take it they don`t know you`ll be turning this into a "drive it like you stole it" course.

They say that "speeds in excess of 170/mph"

Mebbe the headaches lead to the mental instability....................

"Our “Shootout” experience is so much more than any entry level experience. We will get you suited in our beautiful custom Rusty Wallace Racing Experience driver’s suit made by Oakley. You go through a 45 minute orientation with one of our Professional Instructors and then you drive for 10 – 15 laps of racing."

For the track she scheduled me for, it`s speeds in excess of 100/mph
