The clear coat on a Koenigsegg is 150 microns thick!
Its refreshing to see how involved Christian Von Koenigsegg still is with the entire process of building his cars.

Ron, I`m a realist. I never believed that Corvette`s and Mustang`s were a heads up match as they came from the factory. Mustangs and Camaros can go head to head in many production years barring the Mustang II era. There were of course the Bosses but Corvettes were always designed and sold to be a step up from the pony club.
That said, if you match some of the Shelby`s (I mention only these because you might walk into the right Ford dealer and buy one) then there is a pretty good match with even the best of the Corvettes. There are bunches of other great Mustang builders out there like Roush, Kenny Brown and Saleen (supposed to have a hot one this year) to name a few but you have different hurdles in acquiring them in many cases. That said there are super buiders and tuners of Vettes as well (Lingenfelder, Hennesy and the likes). You know I love them but in most cases you have to step a Muscrat up to play with the high end Corvettes as delivered. Now once you have, a Vette might be in trouble. I enjoyed giving the bow tie boys more than they were looking for. Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both
