I always thought mustang dynos were very generous

you`re telling me I have that wrong?

our club guys dyno 420 rw in their new SRT`s (6.4 L ) on the mustang dyno in SA but the ones w/o the A8 (the ones with the same transmission as mine)- I spank `em in the `1/4 mile and my car was last dyno`d in July heat of 2009 (397 rwhp)

oh and its a 6.1 (my car)

perhaps I`m just a much better wheel man, I don`t know

Mustang dyno most always read low because there load bearing so they simulate the road a bit better. But every single dyno is different depending on how its calibrated. Automatic cars don`t dyno well at all.

My ss dynoed at 480whp but went 10.8s all day.

594 is my guess, I was wondering who is doing the work. Didn`t know if you we going to Slowhawk. They are a local well known GM small block specialist in Bridgewater Ma.

I hear nothing but praise from every one who goes to him. If I dont trade up to a Vette like Ron in few years I may bring my Camaro to him. But I think if I get my way a C7 Grand Sport in grey or silver is in my future. That thing looks awesome, looks like Ron`s minus the super charger.

HP 600-625. Also, what is the rear gear ratio? After boosting mine (mustang, 6M 625 rwhp), I ended up changing from 3:73 to 3:31 so I wouldn`t spin all the time. Also lets you keep it in 4th at the traps if so inclined.

Yeah he really is great at what he does! I have a client who is most likely purchasing a new grand sport. Can`t wait to see it.

Good estimate! Thankfully the stock gearing is 3:46. Perfect for me. I was thinking about 3:91 but like you mentioned i think the 3:46 will be great
