Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

CR-V needed a wash so bad. Broke my foot a few weeks ago so I have been a little cautious of getting up on the ladder or even walking around without my boot. It has been driving me nuts for the past couple weeks so yesterday was the day. Neighbors probably thought I was nuts seeing the clouds in the sky but in So Cal dark clouds are never a guarantee for rain and luckily for me it didn`t. Foamed with PB SS&S, 2BM wash with Blackfire Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo and Megs Quik Detailer as drying aid.

Tested Kenotek Showroom Shine and it passed with flying colors.

Now I`m looking forward to testing the rest of the line.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Tried out PB`s Ex sealant on my Nissan Rogue, using a Torq10 on it. That truck has only been done by hand and it was SWEET finally using a machine. Gave me confidence enough to do some much needed correction when time permits. Then I headed off to Home Depot for some quick connects to go with the Gilmour set from DI to use with my new Foam gun & a new cool triggerless gun for rinsing.

I saw your review on "The Hose Slide" this morning and I love those things too. I actually met the family who invented that tool at SEMA a few years ago and I`m happy to see it get good reviews. I only have a 2 pack but reading your review made me grab another 2 pack for this weekend

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

This was actually from the weekend before last, but I was going through pictures and forgot I snapped this one.

I wish I had some after photos of the truck when I was done. It really needed a full correction and the passenger`s side still had plenty of scratches from him driving through trees/shrubs but the Speed did a surprising bit of improvement. The paint was horrible.

So, what did I do today? Looked at/resized photos.

This is what it looked like around most of the truck.

Same panel as the first picture.

    The one for fun.

Placed an order for a bunch of Poorboys stuff to take advantage of the Mem Day sale, and posted pics to the "merlin shot" thread.

i need a vacation after this one ... no wait, i`m retired in Florida and always on vacation. more real estate than i`m used to doing at one time , but was able to bring back a neglected finish with megs d151, and a lsp with griot`s one step sealant. gg 6"da , lc orange pads and a lot of microfibers. you know it`s bad when you have to start with a bleche-wite scrub down.
