I will be ordering some Zaino products, and I was wondering if Z2, and Z5 can be used together? I have a black car, and I was wondering what steps I needed to take. Tell me if I`m missing something.

    1. Dawn wash

    2. Mix with ZFX/Z5 or Z2 and apply 3 coats. Use Z6 between the coats

And that`s it. What should I use, just the Z2 or just the Z5, or switch it up?

    They can be layered interchangably.

Ie one over the top of another with no ill effects. Zaino does say to finish with Z2 but others just use Z5 alone.

I wonder what difference it will make now, since Z2 was changed, and Z5 wasnt.

start with a few coats of z5 since you have a black car. this will mask most of the minor swirls you may have.

Prepping your finish is very important. Not only for Zaino but any surface protectant you use. The final results will reflect this important step. Black is extremely prone to revealing its flaws when using Zaino. If your finish is ready I would layer with Z5 until you are satisfied with the coverage of the minor spiderwebbing and than proceed to Z2. I interchange between Z5 and Z2 depending on the minor marring that occurs with washing. I have 2 black cars in which one is Zaino`d. Fantastic stuff!!!

I would clay before applying the Z. Always want a clean surface to start Zainoing with.

Actually, BOTH Z2 and Z5 have the updated chemistry. :xyxthumbs

You are sure about that? I think on the other post someone wrote, that Z5 will soon have the update, but not yet.
