    Paint safe wedding car decoration?

    Hi All,
My good friend is getting married soon and as the best man i am responsible for decorating his car. He (and I) are very sensitive to paint marring and I`m trying to figure out the best way to decorate his car. He has a 2014 (newest gen) M3 in Yas Marina blue. He has clear film on the hood (i think its the whole hood, but not positive) and the other leading surfaces. He mentioned he is having the car fully detailed professionally the weekend before the wedding, so its going to be in tip top shape. It should be clean, but a week of dust and whatever dirt gets on it from driving over to the venue wont be cleaned off.

Ill probably do a combination of window cling type decorations and possibly some other decorations like this:

I am concerned about using tooling (that gauze stuff) for this. I was thinking maybe like a silk ribbon instead? I also joked about contacting the rag company or other MF company and getting some custom ones made. His fiancee seems very concerned that is going to look nice, so I don`t think i can get away with a simple window cling job.

What do you all think is the best option here? I imagine that they will NOT drive with this on the car, but it would be nice if it was possible.

I would think that something flap in the wind has the potential to damage the paint.
