Don`t be too fast to laugh, supposedly it works pretty well...

Never tried it myself, but peanut butter contains lots of oils in it, so it should actually work.

So will cooking oil do the same or does it have to be peanut oil?

Peanut butter? I would have desert packrats stuck all over my car. Would cruise down the street with the little remoras sucked on to me sled? Peanut butter is an absolute FAV, of packrats.

You might be able to pick up some interesting girlfriends this way?

The oil makes a pretty good cleaner and dressing. I prefer to use products that are designed to remove wax residue such as an APC, and eat the peanut butter, but to each their own (of course!)
