Review: Polish Angel Luxury Leather Kit

Review: Polish Angel Luxury Leather Kit

I recently purchased a new (to me) ’05 Mazdaspeed Miata, with a leather interior. Amazingly, when I picked it up from the dealership it had been detailed properly (on the interior at least, the exterior is a story for another time). However after a month of daily driving, the leather seats were starting to stiffen and needed a thorough cleaning. I saw my chance and took it, cleaning my seats with the recently added Polish Angel Luxury Leather Kit

The day before I did my seats I had a bag of products in my passenger seat that leaked, covering my seat in an oily substance. Here’s what we started with:

Time to get started! After taping the seat I generously sprayed Bella Clean directly onto the seat then immediately scrubbing with their Venice Leather Brush.

Bella Clean smells like no other leather cleaner I’ve used. Somewhere between freshly squeezed lime, lemon and orange, this is the best smelling leather cleaner I’ve come across. Polish Angel seriously needs to consider making cologne in this scent.

    Clean vs unclean

I also used this opportunity to try out the new Artic White Microfiber Towels

Ew. That was from the bottom of the passenger seat alone.

    Now time for Charisma!

A Few drops on a Microfiber applicator was all I needed.

    Massage into the leather.

    50/50 shot of the result:

    Another one on the headrest:

    The finished product:

    The Leather trio:

And the damage to the towel:

    Closing thoughts:

    Bella Clean Leather Cleaner-
Insane cleaning power, sensational smell and no residue left behind.
Not the cheapest leather cleaner out there, however a little product goes a long way (I used 3-4 sprays per seat).
Most interior cleaners have a harsh chemical smell, not Bella Clean! The smell made this cleaner delightful to work with. The fact that it makes cleaning my interior enjoyable makes it well worth the premium.

    Charisma Leather Cleaner –
It’s now been over a week since I applied Charisma and my leather is still incredibly soft and supple. I love the feel that it has given my seats, not at all slippery or greasy, while also giving the surface a darkened look. When applying it has a slight citrus scent, however it does not linger once the excess product is removed, a big positive in my book as most clients are very picky about scents in their interior.

    Venice Leather Brush -
While this brush is incredible soft, it still did an outstanding job at gently attacking the dirt, grime, and oils on my car`s leather and fills a void in my interior tool arsenal.

If you`re interested in keeping your leather interior in astounding shape this is a kit I would highly recommend

Great review Paul! Timely too. I also picked up a Venice Leather Brush and WOW is that soft. How did the brush itself smell while you were working Bella Clean Leather Cleaner? Did it smell like a wet goat?

It is soft, the brush didn`t smell until I took it inside and had it next to my desk, and even then I could only smell it as I was looking closely at the bristles.

Great review Paul!!! You`re making me want to try Polish Angel stuff.

Any more pics of the Miata? Is that the same car you applied the WG coating to? Congrats on the new ride man!

Hey Paul, don`t you have a BMW project car? I seem to remember you mentioning it a while back. If so how about some photos?!?

We both did a sniff test on the brush when Paul finished using it and we both agreed there was no strong odor. We had to get really close to the brush just to smell the standard boar`s hair smell, but it wasn`t overpowering at all (and I don`t think I would ever normally sniff my leather brush like that lol).

Maybe using a certain chemical or product will cause a funky odor? But we didn`t notice any after he used Bella Clean.

GREAT more Polish Angel products for me to buy ugh lol. Looks like it gives results comparable to Letherique with far less time and effort.

Thanks for the review, been contemplating added it to my wish list for a while.

I`ve really been itching to pull the trigger on the brush too but wasn`t to sure, now I just might have to.
