Cilajet (and others offered "only" at dealerships) may be great stuff made by the best people in the world, but to sell it through dealership channels only - which by the way market this stuff in the most underhanded, inaccurate way possible - is enough to make me tell as many people as I possibly can to avoid it at all costs.
Aside from that, if it were all that great a product and didn`t need some sort of "gimmick" to move it, I would suspect it might be available for purchase to people other than stealerships.
Lying to customers who don`t know better and gouging them to the tune of hundreds of dollars (if not thousands later when it`s time for a repaint because they didn`t care for the paint like they should have based on the misrepresentation of this product) speaks volumes about dealerships, and in my opinion, whoever is pushing it via those channels.
Even with a brand new car, there`s (usually) more to it than slapping on an application of some sealant/wax and calling it a day.
