turtle wax bug and tar remover -- NOT IMPRESSED .

so the other week i did my buddies car again for his yearly cleanup

bought the product not too long ago and figured with all the bugs on his car i would try it out ...

I did the usual rinse and spray down with a light diluted APC and use of a bug sponge on the front end ...

after applying sprays of the product on the car and rubbing it and removing the bugs with bug sponge i noticed a plethora of gumming up and oozing of the cleaner througout my sponge and was so slimy and gross feeling and also did not do a very good job at removing any bugs at all...

I would rather use soap and water with apc and elbow grease and a good pressure washer .

i give this a huge thumbs down and caused far more mess than cleaning what its supposed to up !

nonetheless i went out and bought a whole new bug sponge now .

I agree with all above. If you want a product that works then Bug Squash it is.

Wow I find the stuff works great for me and I have done some pretty nasty baked on bug covered front ends. Let it soak for a couple minutes and hit it with a bug sponge.

Yea but the K1 works better than the TW
TD don`t know if you have tried this but when you have a lot of tar put the K1 in a deep pan and set it on a burner and warm it up the warm kerosene will really remove the tar.

hey dude look for a bug remover product that has an enzyme within it. the enzymes will break down the proteins (the bug guts) with minimal elbow grease. just make sure to mix it accordingly, i mix it to about 10% chemical, 90% water.
