I posted here because I was looking for an answer and I figured the Admin`s would get mad for making a post about something thats already discussed lol
    Good advice everyone, thanks.

But when you finish polishing your section, turn off your polisher and put it down, what do you wipe the polish off with? just a microfiber? is this when you would use the IPA? or a microfiber and some quick detailer?

personally i would use the micro fiber to wipe the polish off and go to next section. then when done polishing and all thats when i"ld go back over everything with a fresh microfiber and do the ipa wipe down

I don`t use IPA/etc. when buffing off polishes as such products don`t contribute additional lubricity (the way something like M34 can, useful when buffing off aggressive non-diminishing abrasives).

If I want to strip polishing oils to better determine the achieved level of correction I do it after buffing off the residue. IMO using the IPA/ect. when buffing off abrasive residues is not only a waste of the IPA/etc. but can also slow me down so much that whatever I`m buffing might completely flash off, which I seldom want (all my aggressive/moderate abrasives and most of the milder ones should be buffed off while still a bit wet).

I sometimes think that stuff is becoming the "standard answer", might oughta try it if I ever use up my Akyra Clean (not likely in this lifetime..).

I am building a small order, and Carpro Eraser keeps popping into my mind. I know it`s good stuff, but do I want the 500ml bottle w/sprayer, or for $5 more, do I get the 1L........?

I do like the smaller size of that 500ml bottle though, and it has a sprayer..

TheMeanGreen- Much as I`d like to say "buy the big cost-effective size and use your own sprayer", I`d probably get the one with the nice bottle and sprayer and pretend that I was seeing whether I liked the stuff. Eh, sometimes I`m just a sucker for the nice bottles and after I`ve refilled it a zillion times the initial cost of buying the pricey little size is long forgotten.
