Replace #80 and SG with 4* UPC and UPP and you`ll notice a BIG difference.

None of the Poorboy`s sealants bead for me, they have a very unique sheeting action.

Your sealants will sheet . Its one of the good things about it. It lessens the chance of water spots . However it doesn`t give you a visual sign on how its holding up. Whereas when your beading stops with wax you know its time to go over it again.

is there any reason why that combo wouldnt work. i mean i used the #80 to polish it and clean the paint... why wouldnt following it with sg work?

from my understanding of these products...80 leaves fillers and oils that the SG would not be able to properly bond to...and EX needs a freshly polished or new car finish to work correctly...First line of the directions

rarely hear any problems with using AIO first...SSR1 would be fine too or both if you have the time..

Steve, are the sealants (EX-P/EX-P+ and EXw/C) supposed to bead?? I`ve used them several times, and they have a unique sheeting action that I don`t seem to get with anything else.

Re: ex sealant with carnuba? supposed to bead or sheet?

Matt, I really think it has to do with what is previously used before application.
Both EX and EX-P bead for me in small beads...what is odd is sometime i will get those irregular beads when the cars are dirty, but after washing / and or Qding it goes right back to beading with the next rain. One other factor to consider is the car wash you are using....some leave a soap residue that really should be cleaned off each time with a QD ...similar to the soa[ scum you would see in a shower and no matter how much you rinse it is not going to all come off. This occurance has also been noted by some people who have a lot of minerals in their wash water or use well water.
