Hellstorm in the midst of a detailing whirlwind

So I had a week off of work due to holidays so I filled it in with detailing, 7 cars total. The last car was a 08 Jetta interior that ended up being trashed, but the response from customer upon seeing the finished result was "unbelievable, just unbelievable. This can`t even be the same car. It`s impossible to be." I spent close to 10-12 hrs on the inside and glad I wasn`t doing the outside.
I`ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

    Before

    In process near the end

    After

And of course I couldn`t let the headlights be as they were such a safety issue.

And I had a car reschedule from today to beginning of February.

Lots of sweat, frustration, and hard work. Lol

So I always start my just interiors with a basic wash to make it easier to clean windshields and door jams. I used Meg`s hyper wash with foam canon and reg one bucket wash ( I know how could I) after but if you saw how scratched it was it didn`t matter. I then used 303 spot cleaner as a reg carpet cleaner in sprayer to do all the carpets in conjunction with the mytee spyder after vacuuming the whole car out. I then used the same cleaner on the seats with a terry rag and tuff shine tire brush gently.

I then attacked the vinyl with first megs Apc at 10:1 that didn`t work so I tried 4:1 still didn`t work. I tried steam and that was working but it was also pulling the paint off the vinyl as the grease and nicotine had soaked into it. So I then tried of all things Wolfgang leather cleaner, and that was what was needed it was gentle enough to the painted vinyl but yet strong enough to break down and remove the grease and grime. I then cleaned the glass with rupes glass cleaner and on the inside of back window I used paint prep first to cut the grime.

I dressed the vinyl using Wolfgang vinyl and rubber protectant and then I revaccuumed after to pick up any loose debris from cleaning.

The headlights were cleaned with hd cut and blue rupes on mini and followed by hd polish on yellow rupes on same mini, then seals with 2 coats of fk1000p.

Awesome work. Must be a friend or relative? Guessing based on the owner who duct tapes their door handle isn`t usually the same guy seeking out detailing. Either that or you are way under pricing your services. I can see how you spent 10-12 hrs on the interior.

    Very nice work.

I was typing response when you responded

Amazing work. I agree with you that whatever you were paid was not enough. Paying you what you were worth for that job would be more than the car is worth. That person owes you big time for taking that on.

I charge less per hr for interior than exterior cause I`m not as proficient but I`m getting there and once I get better stuff for interior it`ll start turning into a walk in the park lol

Factor in advertising too. If you an show that kind of work, that quality of care, then people are going to come to you!
Now, like letting the DI find out you are good at buffing floors, you may have a ton of people with trashed interiors coming to you, but, that`s business eh!

    Keep up the great work!
