getting the bugs off of a friend`s car

I`m at my other job, and I just had enough seeing the carnage.

Love Bugs were buried on the bumper of my friend`s car for over two weeks, which had not been waxed, sealed, or any of the above.
So I turned my free time at work into a make shift detail project.

In my trunk I pull out:
    Pinnacle APC
    Blackfire Rinseless Wash
    several Microfiber Towels
    Xenit Citrus Cleaner*
    Wolfgang Liquid Seal

*Credit to the infinite wisdom of Mike Phillips, the Xenit Citrus Cleaner has some of the cleaning abilities of a clay bar.

    The bugs were pretty bad.

I sprayed the area with APC and let it sit for about 20 minutes. I then, using my creative abilities filled a bad with water and rinseless solution and
gently wiped wet the area, keeping it one to two wipes in a spot at the most. I went through this process twice.

After I was done I hit the bumper with Xenit and wiped, followed by sealing the bumper with liquid seal. I was just going to get the bugs off but um yeah I got carried away again.

Nice save. We had a few love bugs this year, but I think northern Florida had them the worst.
